VATOY and VMEN Celebrate EXCELLENCE during the Virginia Teachers of Promise Institute

The second annual celebration of teaching excellence was held on March 24th at Union Station in Harrisonburg, Virginia. At the dinner, Stephanie Doyle, the VATOY chair, recognized the state’s Regional Teachers of the Year and LaTonya Waller, the 2011 Virginia Teacher of the Year. VMEN Chair, Wade Whitehead, also acknowledged the Commonwealth’s two new Milken educators. The event was held in conjunction with the Virginia Teachers of Promise Institute.
